A Message from the President
We will continue striving to achieve both abundance and happiness.
Resona Asset Management was established in August 2015.
Since then, through several processes, including the integration of the functions of Resona Bank’s asset management division in January 2020, we have served a wide range of clients, from retail customers to institutional investors, providing asset management services. I would like to express my gratitude to our clients.
Recent years have seen an acceleration in the pace of change in the social and economic fields in which we operate.
Even in the financial markets, we have more opportunities to discuss the sustainability of society, the foundation of our lives, in various situations.
In addition, as Japan moves toward becoming a leading asset management center , I feel greater expectations are being placed on asset management companies.
Resona Asset Management’s “reason for being” or “purpose” is “to provide abundance and happiness to future generations as well as our own.”
To embody this as an asset management company, we devote ourselves to both providing stable investment results over the long term and contributing to a sustainable society.
I believe asset management services have the ability to accomplish these goals simultaneously and continuously.
We will continue to work creatively in order to provide our clients with long-term stable investment results through the application of accumulated asset management know-how cultivated as a trust bank over many years to long-term diversified investment.
As a responsible investment company, we will continue to work with our investee companies sincerely, to carry out highly effective stewardship activities, and to contribute them to enhancing their corporate value. We will also work with those involved to resolve complex and intertwined social challenges and we continue to persistently carry out the process for realizing a sustainable society.
